~ the wine: This Brouilly 2006 Domaine des Nazins has a garnet colour, a complex and yet fruity nose, it is youthful wine still developping. ~ The Terroir: the grape variety used is the Gamay a typical Beaujolais grape variety, where the soils are mainly sand and silt. ~ The Estate: This vineyard is a family estate that owns 21 Ha on the Brouilly lands, Close to the Mont Brouilly & the Saône river valley. We are settled in St Lager village since 4 centuries. The wine grower is assisted by his wife and an employee. ~ The Vinification: We vinify with the whole bunch of grape. Our wine is a combination of selected vintages as it ensures gustatory and structural qualities. It's aged in tank for 6 to 8 months before bottling. ~ Food matching: It will go along nicely your aperitif, cured meats, white and red meat dishes, fish cheeses and finally desserts, which makes this wine a versatile wine.
