Brouilly Pisse Vieille

 The main protagonist is a local woman called "La Mariette".
A godly wine-maker who was going to confess for her light sins.  
But Mariette, never had anything important to confess and this is why the priest felt the need to liberate her by saying "You may go, and don't sin my child". But Mariette who started to have earing disfunction heard "You may go my child and don't piss anymore". 
In the Beaujolais slang, to sin (pecher) is also said to piss (pisser). We can easily imagine the rest. The old woman only was relieved when her worried husband decided to meet the priest and ask for details. He then went back to their place screaming for the bottom of the hill: 
" Pisse-Vieille, the priest said so"
And this how the village got its name and gave it to its wine
